Earlier this year I introduced you to Bangkok-based 5th Requisite , a denim brand I had discovered while desperately searching for a denim company – any denim company – that does WOMEN’s raw selvedge denim. I am keenly aware that where women are concerned every-BODY craves stretch and therefore 13.5oz. red selvage denim may be less commercial. But then again, why should I be commercial – as the French say: “Vive La Differençe”! I am totally in love with these new raw denim styles. My faves are the straight leg jeans, shown above
